Tehran (ISNA) – During weekdays ending up to February 6, 2020, while 622,349 MT of commodities worth over 880 million USD were traded on Iran Mercantile Exchange, the trading volume on IME’s metals and minerals group experienced a growth of 31 percent.

According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 307,655 MT of various products worth close to 540 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 297,993 MT of steel, 5,600 MT of copper, 3,930 MT of aluminum, 120 MT of molybdenum concentrates, 12 MT of precious metal concentrates as well as 10 kg of gold bullion were traded by customers.

The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 314,694 MT of different commodities with the total value of 355 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 87,122 MT of bitumen, 103,000 MT of VB feed stock, 67,048 MT of polymer products, 27,000 MT of lube cut oil, 25,809 MT of chemical products, 506 MT of base oil, 2,000 MT of slaps waxes, 1,450 MT of insulation, as well as 1,635 MT of sulfur were traded.
