TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian left for Armenia to take part in the 13th joint economic commission meeting between Iran and Armenia.
He is accompanied by a delegation of senior managers of Energy Ministry as well as water and power industry.
Chitchian plans to meet with Armenian energy and environment officials during his three-day meeting.
The two sides would also sign a Memorandum of Understating (MoU) on trade, economy, environment, social and cultural issues on the sidelines of the meeting.
A quartet meeting is scheduled to be held between Iran, Russia, Georgia and Armenia on exchanging electricity in Armenia.
