Tehran (ISNA) – Iran’s deputy Minister of Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade said, the current statistic of non-oil export is a miracle, given US sanctions against Iran’s economy.

Hossein Modarressi Khiabani said, “Statistics indicate that Iran’s non-oil export since the beginning of the Iranian year has exceeded $32 billion which proves a very positive result given the existing restrictions”.

In the current situation, non-oil export has fulfilled a significant part of Iran’s needs and it has replaced oil revenue in many areas, according to the official.

Mentioning the important role of Trade Promotion Organization in improving exports, he said, “The organization can help advancing the country’s goals in export field by making coordination between exporters and other economic sectors and providing necessary provisions to develop export”.
