Tehran (ISNA) – During weekdays ending up to January 16, 2020, about 637,158 MT of commodities worth over 690 million USD were traded on Iran Mercantile Exchange.

According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 173,808 MT of various products worth close to 284 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 140,051 MT of steel, 3,285 MT of copper, 5,000 MT of aluminum, 160 MT of molybdenum concentrates, 12 MT of precious metal concentrates, 300 MT of zinc ingot and 25,000 MT of zinc dust as well as 3 kg of gold bullion were traded by customers.

The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 460,031 MT of different commodities with the total value of 424 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 175,302 MT of bitumen, 102,000 MT of VB feed stock, 69,827 MT of polymer products, 75,500 MT of lube cut oil, 27,918 MT of chemical products, 1,518 MT of base oil, 20 MT of argon, 1,235 MT of insulation, as well as 7,500 MT of sulfur were traded.

Furthermore, 3,318 MT of commodities were traded on the side market of IME.
